Overlooking the clear blue waters of the Ionian Sea and over 5 km of golden sandy beach, the Mediterranean Beach Resort lies on Laganas Bay. The 5-star resort boasts a sea-facing pool and a fully equipped spa centre with sauna and hammam.

With a separate children’s section, the pool is surrounded by free sun beds and umbrellas. The organized sandy beach is also equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, and there is a water sports centre nearby.

Great location, hotel could be better
The location, reception lady the night we arrived on July 17th 2024
It says it is 5 stars hotel, but it doesn’t look like that. The rooms should be ventilated more oftenly, and the curtains washed. Sunbeds on the beach should be free for hotel guests.

Excellent room, staff & location but the breakfast was poor and the gym was not usable
The breakfast was poor. It as the same every day and not what we would expect from 5* The pool bar food was good
The Gym was very poor. There were hardly any free weights and the multi gym machines were poor quality and worn out. The gym was not usable

What was the highlight of Mediterranean Beach Resort
A lovely relaxing break in a beautiful and peaceful location.
The breakfast was very good, a large selection of options, something for everyone. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel and surrounds were kept very clean. Our room was overlooking the pool and the beach and it had lots of space, over 2 floors with a balcony on each. I can highly recommend it!
The shower was over the bath with a glass screen covering just half the bath, so it was easy to flood the floor if you weren't careful enough. Dinners were okay but some days the food wasn't really hot enough.
